The Student Discipleship Ministry is a group exercise in accountability and spiritual disciplines. There is a very high commitment that includes: attending a weekend service, attending Pine Street High, leading a ministry, attending a weekly bible study, meeting with an accountability partner, praying an hour a day, and journaling. Because of the high time and involvement commitments it is not for everyone, but for those that can make it through the whole program, the feeling of accomplishment and the new spiritual habits formed are a great reward.
			The Power Point Ministry is a great to get involved and really hit the ground running. The best people for this job would be those that already know most of the songs so that they can predict or easily adapt to where the lyrics are going next. There will be minimal training, and no time to come in during the week except a few minutes early on Wednesday nights to know what you're going to be doing that night. If you already show up weekly and are looking for an easy way to get involved in an area we really need help, this is for you!

			From week to week we find things that people need done. Work that people need help with, and as those things come up we try to meet the needs quickly and efficently. Darla Witt is the person that organizes and executes these missions. If you are interested in helping with these projects as they pop up simply keep watching the news page and leave a comment when you see one you want to help with. We also have another Mission Ministry. It is our Mission Trip and will be from June 28th throught July 4th. We have invited other churches from around Iowa to come and join us as our home church becomes a mission base for any youth groups that want to join. All you have to do is sign up, the information need can be found at a PSH services on Wednesday nights, or in the church office during office hours.
			If you like our videos, or just like writing or producing fun stuff with this type of media then this is the ministry for you. We are in need of people to act, write, and produce videos for upcoming sermons, events, or just for fun.
